I don't usually give 1 star reviews for anything... but this is the exception.Ordered from here many times (always against my will) and it's always low quality, gross food that has a record of making us sick afterwards.The sweet and sour ribs barely had any meat on them, it was just bones and cartilage.

Heard of them for the first time yesterday and decided to give them a trial, what a regretted experience that turned out to be. Ordered supper to be delivered; the address got mixed up, as well as the order. The food was also very lackluster. Called to complain and spoke with the/a manager, and the customer service was sub par. Suffice it to say, that's one trial too many for me. Definitely not the better Asian Buffet on that stretch of road or in the city.

The food is great for the price. around 15 bucks for an adult, for a buffet. The salted chicken and the wonton soup are my favorite.

Food was good specially shrimp tempura! But we asked the server which item has pork she doesn’t know n then she assumed n gave us wrong information! Although one of my friends can’t have pork he ate pork spring roll which was told by the server as vegetable spring roll! He was really upset n paid full money n left.

It's a buffet better than fast food not as good as a real restaurant

Loved the buffet. Great selection of food including a good mix of Asian dishes, traditional Canadian make, n and sushi. There is also a large variety of desserts to choose from. The restaurant is licensed.

Pricing was good. Food was mediocre. We had the buffet. I am a meat eater, I say this because it is hard for me to complain about, but the buffet only had 1 vegetable dish. It had a section where you could grab fruit or salad but it looked like it had been sitting. We were there after 630 and some of the food was dry like it had been out for hours. The staff discussed personal things amongst themselves rather loudly which is never a good sign. Our refillable pop had to ask a staff member passing by to refill as they were not paying attention to us. Lastly the bathrooms were a mess with toilet paper (not clean) all over the floor. I went to wash my hands and they were out of soap.

Our dining experience was great. Food was fresh & tasty & the service was friendly & efficient

It was better for a bit, but then they forgot my sweet and sour sauce once or twice when I ordered for delivery, now they're just ok.

Best Chinese buffet in town! Good place to bring large groups. Have a couple rooms if you would like a little more privacy.

This is the place for great Chinese food!! They also serve western food, which is good. It's a licensed Family restaurant & the buffet is great!! If you're looking for good quality Chinese food, this is the place to go.

I drive out to pa just to eat there. Might go today!

Food is usually good best chinese food in PA

It didn't feel like it was real clean but good was great and I might be being picky. Great service. We'll go again for sure.

The restaurant, itself, is very inviting, and the staff is courteous. However, to be an Asian restaurant, there are not many vegetarian or vegan options available. Also, the food that was I was able to eat was not acceptable to my tastebuds...perhaps because I did notice in many cases, that Canadian restaurants use less seasonings and prepare foods a bit differently that in the US. Be sure not to ask for sweet tea in Canada, period. Staff will have no idea what you are referring to if you do request it with your meal.

This is my favourite place in town for Chinese food! I always have the buffet and it is delicious. I have had food poisoning from here twice, but it was worth it!

Not great. Didn't enjoy most of the food, maybe came at a bad time, not sure. Charge you if you don't eat all your food. 16.50 for a plate. Could probably find better for less for a buffet.

Star House has always been a great place to get with the family and enjoy a decent meal. The service has always been incredible and I've really got no complaints. Keep up the good work.

Great place to eat. One of the best buffets I have eaten at. They continuously monitored what was getting low and was filling it before it was empty. Great service and always asking if everything was ok. I have eaten there several times and it has always been great.

That was the best take out order ever ! Amazing flavors everything very fresh ! Impressed

Great food friendly young lady serving with real ambitions for her future. I'm 63 and always find it so refreshing to meet young people with positive plans in the future which will make a contribution to society :)

Its really good place

My family had supper at star house restaurant last night. The meal was very delicious and the food was fresh. The server was extremely kind and the desserts were great as well, you could tell they were homemade! I would highly recommend this buffet. I’m for sure going back. They definitely deserved the B.O.B award:)

For all of you who complain about hair in your food; you have to realize that this is a buffet. There are how many other people who are walking around the food and such else so don’t give the restaurant a bad review because of something that is not their fault. The food at starhouse is really great quality and delicious. The staff is so friendly. Also if you’re complaining about hair or the variety on the buffet; there is also the option of ordering off of the menu which I personally think has great selection and includes Canadian food and delicious deserts as well!

Consistently good food and service. The food is kept fresh even when having the buffet later in the evenings. We've been regulars here for a few years and have never had a bad meal or poor service.

Low quality food, most of the meat on the buffet is fried. low quality service... never again!

Went here tonight and loved the food....needed more of certain items it was slim pickings around supper....depended what you wanted. But a good overall experience. Friendly staff. Clean fish tank up front. We didn't eat the sushi....lol

I went there to order take out. The reception lady was very friendly, courteous, and quick to take my order. Nice to see a friendly smile.

You go for seconds you make sure you eat what's on your plate be charged for leftover food on your plate. I ordered Asian food it was very good

Ordered a dinner for 5 with 2 pops and I got my food and not the pops, anyways called about it and said they were on the way back well over 1hr ago and haven't recieved my drinks, I paid for 🤬 so mad at this point it should have been here within 15mins of me calling and honestly should have gave me the drinks with the food, I have ordered this isn't the first time this has happened either. Happens alot. And it's very unprofessional
